What is the purpose of Argos?
Argos provides a scalable solution to protect
files throughout an organization, allowing companies to deploy a
file protection solution, company-wide, while maintaining centralized
control over the encryption keys. By controlling the keys, the company
maintains positive control over the data files, providing the ability
to enforce data security and privacy policies.

How long does it take to

Argos come with robust SDKs. Integration time would depend upon
the complexity of the functionality you want from the product and
your existing architecture.

With Argos, can I encrypt
any type of file?
Yes

Where are the encryption
keys stored?
Encryption keys are stored in a separate key database that
can be any standard relational database.

How do your products handle
the back up of keys?
We recommend that you back up your encryption keys stored
in the Key Database at the same frequency that you would normally
use to back up your database.

What happens if I lose my
encryption keys?
Argos has built-in support for automated backup and recovery.
As with all encryption, once the keys are lost the data is non-recoverable.

With Argos, can anyone access
my keys?
Only you have access to your encryption keys.

Will encryption increase
the size of my file?
The increase is minimal and cannot be more than 8 bytes longer.
